With a capacity away following in attendance tomorrow, Carlos Carvalhal believes the fans will play a big part, not just in the season curtain-raiser, but all throughout the campaign.
Over 5,700 tickets were quickly snapped up for the Owls’ clash with Preston as excitement builds for 2017/18.
Ahead of the big kick-off, Carlos said:
“We must play with our heart, we must look to ourselves a lot and play with big heart, understanding we will have almost 6,000 fans with us and we have a lot of respect to them and play to them.
“But not just to them because they are there, but all the fans.
“Again, like I said before, we need to play for the badge, and play very hard from the first second.”
He added: “We know anything can happen in football but we will try and fight absolutely sure for the three points.
“We must understand that if all of us do a little better, the coaches, the players, the fans, if we do a little better even just 10 percent, we can jump to a different position.
“It’s a good challenge to everybody. I’m sure we will have fantastic support on Saturday because we know our supporters are amazing."
