The Owls travel to Preston on Saturday for the opening game of the Sky Bet Championship campaign and overseas supporters can watch live on iFollow.
For the first time in English football, supporters living outside of the UK and Ireland can watch live games through the EFL’s new digital streaming platform, iFollow.
More than 1,500 matches will be available in HD quality this season across the iFollow network, with subscribers paying the equivalent of £110 per season.
The Owls’ friendly with Rangers was streamed live to all subscribers (UK, Ireland and overseas) on Sunday as an introduction to the live game option.
Due to broadcasting restrictions, Sky Bet Championship games will only be available to overseas subscribers, while those in the UK and Ireland can tune in for live commentary.
Season pass subscriptions for Owls fans in the UK and Ireland are priced £45.
iFollow has been optimised for all devices ahead of the 2017/18 campaign and the new official club app will allow our overseas fans to stream live matches via iphone and tablet devices.
