Two degrees!

1 August 2017

Two members of the Sheffield Wednesday Community Programme have been celebrating this summer after completing their BSc (Hons) Football Coaching, Development and Administration degree at the SWFCCP.

Adam Ledger, 24, and Callum Douglas, 21, achieved an outstanding 1st and 2:1 certification.

Their academic journey started at SWFC, as they studied for their Foundation Degree in Community Football Coaching and Development, where they continued to complete their top-up degree.

Adam and Callum’s success has been widely celebrated throughout the Community Programme department, as both have acted as strong role models and mentors to current students.

Both graduates have gained full time employment at the SWFCCP, showing that hard work and determination can lead to full time employment, even at your local football club.

Adam said: ''Completing this degree programme gave me an excellent opportunity to work full time alongside completing my degree.

“Without this opportunity, I wouldn't have been able to complete the degree, gain a First Class honours, and continue progress at Sheffield Wednesday.''

Callum added: ''This course has given me the perfect platform to develop myself as an individual as well as opportunities to gain hands on experience within a sporting workplace.''

It's not too late to sign up for your own success story so for more information on the courses delivered at the SWFCCP, please email education@swfc.co.uk.
