Birmingham manager Gianfranco Zola has spoken ahead of his side’s visit to Hillsborough this evening.

The Italian, who took over the Blues from Gary Rowett in December, said he’s impressed with what he has seen from Wednesday.

Zola said: "Sheffield of all the teams that I’ve seen – and I’ve seen nearly all of them, were probably one of the teams I liked the most with the way they play.

"They are very dangerous and are very good going forwards.

"They have three or four players that can win the game on their own.

"Fernando Forestieri is one of them for example.

"With the creativity they have they can score goals.

"It will be tough for us but at the same time they give opportunities and it will be down to us to use those opportunities and make them pay.

"We know that they are nine points ahead and if we beat them we are closer.

“It would also be massive for the morale so we will try our best."
