Blackburn boss Owen Coyle has been speaking ahead of Rovers’ visit to Hillsborough this evening and expects a tough task but one his players will be looking forward to.

The Lancashire side have lost only one of their last five games but Coyle believes Wednesday will be confident following the 3-0 win against Birmingham on Friday.

Coyle said: "The nature of the Championship is that it is a tough game whoever you play and Sheffield Wednesday are no different.

"They had a good result last Friday night and they'll obviously be in good spirits for it, but we've got to go there and make sure that we are at our maximum, because if we are then we've shown that we are capable of winning games on our travels.

"We did enough on Saturday to certainly win by a few goals so we've got to go and give a big performance and be ruthless in front of goal.

"There is no doubt that it is a tough game but it is one that we are looking forward to.

"These are the games that we like to play in, we want to go and show that we are a good team that can play against good teams and this game affords us that opportunity."
