Sam Hutchinson has been voted as the swfc.co.uk Player of the Month for the third time this season.
To go with his August and October awards, the 27-year-old was the fans’ standout candidate for December, weighing in with 85% of the vote.
The midfielder’s energetic and passionate performances have seen Hutchinson win the Owls’ Player of the Month award by a landslide margin.
His highlights for the month came in the South Yorkshire derby against Barnsley at Hillsborough, where the ex-Chelsea man struck his second goal of the campaign in front of the Kop to seal victory.
He was then named Sky Bet Man of the Match at St James’ Park after Wednesday upset the odds to claim a memorable Boxing Day win at Newcastle and subsequently placed in the EFL Team of the Week.
