Huddersfield Town head coach David Wagner has been speaking ahead of the Terriers’ visit to Hillsborough on Saturday and he says his team will have to be at the top of their game to get a positive result.
Wagner said: “I’m a little bit unhappy that we have these small injury problems, I expected that we would have more players back this week.
“But this is football and we will have a group together that will be strong enough and confident to give Sheffield Wednesday the hardest game they can expect.
“We will have to be very focused and concentrate, our defence has to be one of the best this season to be successful.
“And then it’s the same as what we said against Norwich, one point would be a good point but obviously if it’s three we will take that as well.
“But it will be for sure a very interesting game.”
Huddersfield are unbeaten in their previous four away games, winning their last three, and Wagner says this impressive form stems from the team concentrating on their own game.
He added: “We enjoy to play away.
“For us, and this is a big, big step we take this season and what we’ve spoke a lot about with our squad, we have to focus on ourselves and our performance.
“This doesn’t depend on if you play away or at home, if you play at St James’ Park or Hillsborough or the John Smith’s Stadium, we just have to focus on ourselves.”
