Fresh from victory over Portimonense on Wednesday, the Owls return to action this evening against SC Farense.
Carlos Carvalhal believes the game against lower league Portuguese opposition will offer a different kind of test for his squad.
With the Portimonense and Farense friendlies just 24 hours apart, the Owls head coach is set to make changes this evening.
Development Squad trio Connor O’Grady, James Murphy and Jordan Thorniley are set to figure in the warm-up fixture as Carlos explained:
“Today we play against Farense and our purpose is to give more time to some players.
“We’ll give opportunities to the young players to play that have come with us from the Under-23s.
“We will play with a good team and try to do our best against a team that plays in a lower division.
“But we know that sometimes when teams come from lower divisions, their attitudes can be double and create problems. I expect that we can do a good training again.”
