George Boyd is keen to get down to business at Hillsborough after completing his move to the club on Monday.
The experienced winger arrives in S6 with big ambitions and will meet up with his new team mates on Tuesday for his first day of pre-season with Wednesday.
Looking forward to those crucial weeks of preparation that lie ahead, with little over four weeks until the Owls travel to Preston for the season curtain-raiser, Boyd told swfc.co.uk:
“I’m delighted it’s all done. As soon as I knew of the interest it was a no-brainer for me.
“It will be nice to meet up with everyone tomorrow and I’m excited and raring to get going.
“It’s important you get a full pre-season under your belt, I can start now and build over the next weeks and get ready for the new season.
“Obviously the club have been close over the last two years and hopefully I can help get them over the line.
“It is a club that needs to be in the Premier League with the fans and the structure that is in place.”
He added: “There is always a great crowd here and I can’t wait for it to get started.”
