Owls midfielder Filipe Melo has joined Portuguese Primeira Liga side Grupo Desportivo de Chaves on a free transfer.
The 27-year-old joined Wednesday in February 2015 from Portuguese side Moreirense and made six appearances in total.
A loan move to Pacos Ferreira followed in 2016/17, where Melo earned a regular starting shirt in the second half of the campaign.
The central midfielder featured 16 times as the Primeira Liga outfit achieved a 13th placed finished.
