Day three of the Owls’ Portuguese training camp will see Carlos Carvalhal’s side face Portimonense.
The game will take place this evening at Estádio Municipal de Albufeira with kick-off at 7.00pm.
About Portimonense
During the 2016/17 pre-season campaign, Portimonense hosted the Owls in a training ground exercise that effectively saw two different teams fielded by both clubs throughout.
The game ended 3-2 to Portimonense with Fernando Forestieri and Steven Fletcher on target for Wednesday.
Portimonense went on to enjoy a terrific 2016/17 campaign and finished as champions of LigaPro, earning promotion to the Primeira Liga.
They play their home fixtures at Estádio Municipal, Portimão which has a capacity of just under 10,000.
Head coach Vitor Oliveira finished his playing career at Portimonense in 1985 and went on to manage the club until 1986.
The former midfielder is now in his second spell at the Portimão-based club after taking over in 2016 when he guided the Algarve outfit to the top tier.
Captain Ricardo Pessoa has made over 350 appearances for the club since signing from Vitoria Setubal in 2005.
