Owls partner with ProgrammeMaster

19 July 2017

Sheffield Wednesday are delighted to announce a brand new partnership with football industry leader ProgrammeMaster, who will produce the club’s award-winning matchday programme from next season.

Following a tender process that spanned the summer, the Owls have opted to partner with ProgrammeMaster, whose maiden publication will be on sale for the friendly against SPL giants Rangers on Sunday 30 July.

ProgrammeMaster boast a raft of high profile partners – including Premier League West Ham United, the Lawn Tennis Association and the World Snooker Championships – and can now add the Owls to their long list of sporting clients.

ProgrammeMaster Managing Director Lee Berry said: “To be working with Sheffield Wednesday in their 150th anniversary year is a real honour.

“We’ll be producing some great content and special editions to celebrate this milestone in the club’s history over the coming months.

“We have published the World Snooker final programme at the Crucible Theatre in Sheffield for over a decade, and likewise, we hope this is just the start of a long and successful partnership with another sporting institution in the Steel City.’'

Sheffield Wednesday Director of Communications Trevor Braithwait added: “We are delighted to join the ProgrammeMaster stable and we welcome the whole team to Hillsborough.

“’Wednesday’ is recognised as one of the most consistent matchday programmes in the country in terms of its quality, design, production and content, hence a string of offers were made to the club.

“However, that of ProgrammeMaster was compelling on all fronts and we look forward to taking our publication to the next level with this exciting new partnership.”
