England will face Scotland in the semi finals of the Toulon Tournament.
George Hirst, who captained the young Three Lions side last time out against Japan, is in line to face the Scots at the Stade Parsemain in France on Thursday 8 June at 4.00pm
The Owls’ Under-23s striker has been in fine form for club and country this season, scoring 40 goals overall.
Hirst is the joint top scorer in the Toulon Tournament so far, bagging four goals, including a hat trick against Cuba in the group stages.
The young England side is made up of players from the national team’s Under-18s, 19s and 20s.
Hirst will be hoping his goalscoring form continues with England having a chance to progress to the final and retain the title they won in France last year.
