Fernando Forestieri has been voted as the Owls’ Player of the Month for February.
Wednesday supporters have chosen the 27-year-old as their swfc.co.uk Player of the Month winner with 37% of the vote.
Forestieri featured in all six of the Owls’ February fixtures, where he scored his 9th and 10th goals of the campaign, respectively.
During the trip to Nottingham Forest midway through the month, Forestieri produced a moment of magic to double the Owls’ advantage at The City Ground.
Back to goal and seemingly little on for the Owls ace, Forestieri took three touches before swivelling on the spot and striking into the roof of the net.
He then hit his second goal of the month in the home clash against Brentford with a delightful finish in stoppage time.
