Ahead of the clash with Burton on Tuesday, Carlos Carvalhal says the Owls will monitor a number of players following the weekend victory over Norwich.
Sam Hutchinson left the action early as the Owls overcame the Canaries 5-1, while Almen Abdi (knee) missed out on a place in the squad completely.
Given the short time between fixtures, Carlos says the Owls will make their assessments on the day of the game and explained:
“I don’t want to discuss about individual players because we must check them after the game on Saturday.
“Sometimes you never know, players can recover on the day of the game.
“We must wait until tomorrow to check with everyone because there are players that we don’t know whether they will recover or not.
“It’s a short time between the games, we will keep the information inside the club and check all the players tomorrow and then make the decisions.”
