Midfield powerhouse Sam Hutchinson will be assessed on the fitness front ahead of the Owls’ home clash with Burton on Tuesday night.
After producing a hugely influential cameo display in Saturday’s 5-1 rout of Norwich. Hutchinson was forced out of the first half action.
Wednesday will now await an update on the former Chelsea man.
Carlos Carvalhal said: “It is too early to say about Sam. He often surprises us anyway so we must wait.
“He went into this game with some pain but he always wants to give everything for the team.
“Everyone can see what he did and his contribution to the first goal….this is Sam.
“He is very important for Sheffield Wednesday and we will see over the next couple of days.”
