Preparation, strategy, energy

Everything is in place for a huge occasion at Hillsborough on Saturday.

For the Owls and Norwich, there is plenty of importance attached to the S6 clash.

Three points are of course on the line but with the sides battling for a top six spot and the gap currently at six points in the Owls’ favour, there is a lot riding on the Championship tussle.

“We have had one week to prepare for the game, form a strategy and recover energy so we will be ready to a difficult match.

“The teams that are relegated are all the time the strongest sides in my opinion.

“More important, we respect a lot Norwich but look to ourselves to improve our football, to upgrade our football and play better and better.

“This game is different comparing with recent games. We have played five games in the last 15 days and in the last two, we didn’t play in the same circumstances.

“Even with this in the last game, we played face by face with Leeds and were the better side on the pitch in my opinion.”

In sixth spot, with 12 games remaining – seven of which are at Hillsborough and five away – Carlos sees every reason to feel positive ahead of another big Championship occasion.

He added: “We understand the opponent is strong but they will play against a strong team of the competition also.

“We play at home and expect good support from our fans during this last part of the season. We need the help of everybody.”
