Glenn Loovens gave credit to Burton for the way in which they defended at Hillsborough and says the Owls are now ready to go against this weekend at Aston Villa.
The Brewers ground out a point in S6 with a dogged display that eased their relegation fears whilst frustrating Wednesday at the same time.
And Loovens said: “We dominated the game, put a lot of crosses into the box but to be fair to Burton, they defended really well.
“Sometimes you have to give credit to the opposition.
“They did what they had to do and I felt we did everything we could to break them down – we moved the ball quickly and put crosses in.
“Also you can get the ball landing kindly for you and it didn’t.“
On the trip to Villa, Loovens added: “I think this will be a different kind of game, probably more open.
“We will go there with confidence and we will go there to win, as we look to do in every game.
“The boys gave everything, we just couldn’t get that second goal.
“But we are not down, the coach and the fans could see the situation, and now we focus on Villa and we are ready to go again.”
