Keiren Westwood has been named in Martin O’Neill’s 39-man provisional squad for the upcoming games against Wales and Iceland.
Ireland begin their double-header with a World Cup qualification clash against Wales on Friday 24 March (7.45pm) at Dublin’s Aviva Stadium.
O’Neill’s side have won three of their four qualification games so far and sit top of the group with ten points, while Wales go into the game unbeaten with one win and three draws.
On 28 March (7.45pm), the Republic play host to Iceland at The Aviva Stadium in an international friendly.
