Carlos Carvalhal has been crowned as the Sky Bet Championship April Manager of the Month.
The award comes on the back of a terrific run of form for Wednesday that has seen the club post six consecutive victories for the first time since 1993.
The run, including wins over Rotherham, Newcastle, Cardiff, QPR, Derby and Ipswich, secured the Owls their place in the top six ahead of the season finale against Fulham on Sunday.
During the month, the Owls also posted three clean sheets taking that tally to 16 for the season – just one shy of the club record.
Carlos said: “Sheffield Wednesday fans know I prefer the collective awards than individual because football is a collective sport.
“But we are very proud about this, even though I receive the prize, it is not just to me.
“It’s to my staff, the players, the chairman, the fans and everyone connected with Sheffield Wednesday.
“Nobody did this alone, we are part of a big group that try to work hard all the days to be better and better and this award represents the collective.”
