Jack Hunt has called on the fans to give one final push to the players at Hillsborough on Wednesday as the Owls battle out the play-off semi final second leg.
The tie is evenly poised after Sunday’s 0-0 draw with Huddersfield at The John Smith’s Stadium.
But with the second leg staged under the lights at a sold out Hillsborough, Hunt believes a special night lies ahead.
“If you had offered us one game at the start of the season to get to the play-off final at home in front of our fans, then I think most of us would have taken it,” he said.
“We’re focused on making our fans and everyone associated with the club happy and going back to Hillsborough in front of our fans, we are confident.
“We want them to get down and support us like they have all season and give us one last push at home.
“With our crowd under the lights at Hillsborough, it will hopefully be a special night and one where we come out on top.”
