FIFA challenge comes to Hillsborough

Around 40 competitors took part in the GAME Sheffield Community Cup at Hillsborough last month, bring together keen, local FIFA 17 players.

A fun afternoon was had by all who played in the Grandstand before the Owls faced Barnsley on Saturday 28 October, with Tom Caira coming out on top with a score of 12,540 points!

Runner-up was Danny Beckett with 11,987 points and both were presented with a signed ball on the pitch at half time during the derby clash.

The game zone was located on the concourse in the family area of the stadium, with two screens specially set up for the Community Cup and a further two just for youngsters to play on at leisure.

The Community Cup takes place at football stadiums around the country, giving youngsters the chance to battle it out pre-match on FIFA 17 before the main event at 3.00pm.
