The Owls cemented their position at the top of the Professional Development League 2 table with a 2-0 victory over Huddersfield at Middlewood Road.
Goals either side of half time from Warren Clarke and Fraser Preston sealed the win that takes Neil Thompson’s side six points clear at the summit.
Clarke’s opener three minutes before the break lit up a relatively low key first half as the midfielder finished a Preston feed to the far post.
Chances remained at a premium in the second half until Preston sealed the points with ten minutes to go after connecting with a low cross from Preslav Borukov.
The Owls are next in action this Saturday, 18 November, at Hull.
