The Owls are delighted to announce that Sheffield Wednesday Dream Scene canvases are now available to buy.
This iconic painting was unveiled at the Owls’ 150th anniversary dinner by world-renowned artist Jamie Cooper, who worked on the prestigious piece throughout the summer.
The Dream Scene features 15 players who made a lasting impact on Wednesday during their time with the club, including some background pieces that allude to other key people and moments in the Owls’ 150-year history.
This quality 170cm x 75cm reproduction is taken from a high resolution scan of the original artwork and printed onto cotton canvas.
The canvas is then wrapped around wooden stretcher bars to look and feel like a real painting.
Each canvas comes with a coloured profile border requiring no framing.
It is one of a strictly limited edition of 150. One for each year of the club's existence. Each canvas is personally signed by the artist and is assigned an individual year. E.g. 1/150 - 1867, 2/150 - 1868 etc...
Each print also comes with a 21cm x 21cm colour booklet explaining all the hidden stories contained within the scene.
During a live auction at the anniversary dinner at Ponds Forge last Monday, the very first canvas available sold for an incredible £5,500!
The Dream Scene canvases are priced at just £850 and can be purchased in the Megastore or the Sheffield Wednesday Online Shop.
The canvases come packaged in a large box (1.8 metres x 80cm x 10cm) and all purchases are collection only.
Smaller lithograph prints of the Dream Scene will also be available shortly – full details will follow.
