Carlos Carvalhal has underlined the important role of the fans at Hillsborough on Sunday.
The head coach says the home support will play a huge part in the game as the Owls host city rivals Sheffield United.
Without question, the atmosphere at Hillsborough will be one to savour as the first Sheffield derby in over five years takes place.
Carlos said: “These games are unpredictable because they are derbies. In all the world, you don’t have favourites in the derbies.
“But about the environment, we will look to this in a very positive way. All the time that we have a very strong environment and big support, my players give a good answer.
“All the time we feel our fans are with us, in the good moments and bad moments. There are always periods in games when you have bad moments.
“But our fans create a fantastic atmosphere and the answer of my players in these circumstances are all the time very good.
“It’s exactly what I expect on Sunday, in all the moments the fans will push to the team and the team will answer.
“We have special fans, they support a lot and they will be a big part of this game, absolutely sure.”
