The Owls are delighted to announce a brand new partnership with leading local beer supplier Thornbridge Brewery.
The link with SWFC will see Thornbridge produce a special ‘Wednesday pale ale’ for matchdays at Hillsborough.
The new brew will be on sale on the concourses and in hospitality lounges from tomorrow’s Championship clash with Nottingham Forest.
Thornbridge branded beers were first brewed in 2005 in the grounds of Thornbridge Hall and the company has since gone from strength to strength, scooping an incredible 350 national and international awards.
Due to unprecedented growth in the industry, a state of the art brewery and bottling line was opened in Bakewell four year later to satisfy customer demand.
Thornbridge products use traditional recipes with a wide range of hops, malts, all brewed by an innovative and dedicated team.
Simon Webster, Chief Executive Officer of Thornbridge Brewery, added: “When we were given the opportunity to brew the official Sheffield Wednesday beer, we were delighted.
“Our Managing Director Jim Harrison and I have been Season Ticket holders for years so to have one of our own beers inside the ground will be the perfect match!”
