Former midfield man John Harkes is the cover star of ‘Wednesday’ this weekend.
Saturday will represent 27 years since the Owls lifted the League Cup at Wembley, beating Manchester United 1-0 beneath the old Twin Towers.
Harkes was part of the side that triumphed in the capital, two years before he became the first American to score at Wembley when Wednesday ultimately lost to Arsenal in the same competition.
Such is the reach of social media, Harkes himself promptly discovered he would be back in the S6 spotlight and tweeted accordingly!
