The Sheffield Varsity comes to Hillsborough on Wednesday for the men and women’s football finale.
The annual Varsity pits the University of Sheffield against Sheffield Hallam in a number of sporting contests, with the football marking the end of the prestigious student competition.
The women’s match kicks off at 4.00pm, with the men’s game following at 7.45pm.
Both universities have sold out their respective ticket allocations as thousands of students will descend on S6 for the coveted event, hoping to leave with the bragging rights as Varsity champions.
As things stand, University of Sheffield lead the way on 33 points to Hallam’s 26, with plenty of points still to play for before tomorrow’s finale!
VIPs and dignitaries will be in attendance and the Owls are proud to host the grand finale as part of our ongoing relationship with the University of Sheffield and Sheffield Hallam.
