All you need to know about the SWFC Fun Day!

6 April 2018

The Owls are reminding supporters of the registration processes required ahead of next Wednesday’s WAWAW #SWFC150 Fun Day at Hillsborough.

This special event offers some fantastic opportunities for fans of all ages – from treasure hunts to playing on the pitch at Hillsborough!

To help us gauge numbers ahead of 11 April, please CLICK HERE using the ‘friends and family’ facility on the ticket page to register your attendance.

Everyone who registers online will receive a further email with full details over the next few days.

Supporters should check their online preferences to ensure they are ticked to receive emails from Sheffield Wednesday. If uncertain, please check the preferences page on the ‘my account’ page.

The junior Owls treasure hunt starts from 10.30am and we are requesting that parents send the names and numbers of all participants in advance, together with a contact number. Please CLICK HERE to register no later than 5.00pm on Monday 9 April.

Once numbers are collated, we will respond with a time slot for arrival, which will be in 15-minute intervals between 10.30am and 12.30pm.

Juniors taking part, who must be 11 and under and accompanied by an adult, will arrive at South Stand reception and explore VIP areas of Hillsborough, taking part in great activities along the way.

Kids’ games will kick off the football fun from 11.00am, with over 100 slots available for youngsters to step onto the S6 turf and play.

Spaces will be limited and allocated on a first come, first served basis from every junior Owl who CLICKS HERE to register. Please note, we cannot accept applications on the day.

Time slots are:

11.00am - 11.45am: 5/6/7s - 40 places
11.45am - 12.30pm: 8/9/10s - 40 places
12.30pm - 1.30pm: 11/12/13s - 40 places
1.00pm - 1.30pm: 14/15/16s - 12 places

Also in the afternoon, between 1.30pm and 2.30pm, fans will have the chance to take part and take on SWFC staff in two five-a-side Zorb Football matches! During the day, staff will be on hand to take the names of anyone who is up for this fun-filled challenge!

The football finale bringing the event to a close is the SWFC Fans v Staff match, refereed by ex-Premier League referee Uriah Rennie. If you would like to be part of the Fans team, please visit our official Facebook page HERE and post a video showcasing your soccer skills and the best entries will take the honours!

Should you rather send your clip privately to the club, you can do so by visiting the same page and clicking 'send message.'

WAWAW #SWFC150 has something for all the family and we are looking forward to welcoming you all to Hillsborough!
