Sheffield Wednesday host Ipswich on Saturday (3.00pm) at Hillsborough in the Sky Bet Championship.

PREVIEW

Wednesday produced a positive performance in midweek and got off the mark in the Sky Bet Championship with a 2-1 victory over Millwall.

Owls boss Jos Luhukay made five changes for the midweek clash with the Lions, handing youngsters Matt Penney and Fraser Preston their full debuts.

The Owls have picked up four points from two games at Hillsborough so far this season (1-1 v Hull, 2-1 v Millwall).

Ipswich are still searching for their first win of the campaign under new boss Paul Hurst.

The Tractor Boys have tasted defeat twice on the road in the Championship, going down 1-0 at Rotherham and 2-0 at Derby.

They were also knocked out of the Carabao Cup at Exeter in the first round on penalties.

At Portman Road, Ipswich have drawn both league games played so far (2-2 v Blackburn and 1-1 v Aston Villa).

TEAM NEWS:

Owls: Defender Joost van Aken remains sidelined for Saturday’s clash with Ipswich.

Lucas Joao and Daniel Pudil will be assessed following Friday’s training session.

Ipswich: Cole Skuse is a doubt for this weekend’s visitors,. The midfielder picked up a knock in the midweek defeat at Derby.

Fellow midfield man Jon Nolan has an ankle injury and is a doubt for the game.
