The Owls’ Championship fixtures against Middlesbrough and Sheffield United in October and November, respectively, have been switched for live Sky Sports coverage.
Wednesday were due to host Boro on Saturday 20 October but the game has been brought forward and will now take place on Friday 19 October, kick-off at 7.45pm.
Meanwhile, the first Steel City derby of the season has also been switched to the Friday.
The clash at Bramall Lane was set for Saturday 10 November but will now be broadcast live on Sky the previous Friday, 9 November, again with a 7.45pm kick-off.
