We must find a way

21 August 2018

Jos Luhukay has stressed his side must be better in all departments as he prepares his side for Wednesday night’s meeting with Millwall at Hillsborough.

Although extremely early days in the campaign, the Owls are still hunting their first league win.

With back to back home league games on the horizon, starting with the Lions in midweek, then Ipswich on Saturday, the opportunity is there for Wednesday and Jos wants his players to seize the initiative.

He said: “We must do a lot of things better and on Wednesday we have a chance to do that.

“I know my feelings after the game on Sunday and from training, the players also know my feelings for the game tomorrow.

“Tomorrow as a team we must give the answer that we can do it better than the last three games.

“It’s all about how you play as a team, how you defend as a team, how you go into the offensive as a team and that you all come together in the positive direction.

“When you do it together and for each other, you will find the stability that you need to win games in the Championship.

“We must as a team come to find a way to start winning in the Championship, we did it in the cup last Thursday in a positive way, then three days later at Brentford it was not the same performance.

“We must find a way tomorrow to have our first league success.”
