Jos Luhukay has confirmed that Cameron Dawson will start the Owls’ FA Cup fifth round replay at Swansea on Tuesday.
Dawson has proved a more than able deputy in the cup so far, playing in every round to this stage of the famous old competition.
The Sheffielder has posted two clean sheets, against Carlisle and the Swans, plus a stunning reflex save at Hillsborough facing the latter that ultimately led to Tuesday’s second bite at the cherry.
Luhukay said: “Absolutely, Cammy will play against Swansea. He has been our cup keeper and has performed exceptionally well.
“I have said before that we are very lucky to have two outstanding young goalkeepers in Joe and Cammy, plus the experience of Keiren Westwood.
“I have complete trust in our goalkeepers. Cammy has been fantastic in the cup and he will play on Tuesday.”
