Owls academy midfielder Alex Hunt has been nominated for the January LFE Goal of the Month award.
Hunt has been in excellent form this season and capped an extremely productive period on the pitch by signing his first professional contract with the Owls earlier this month.
And now the youngster is a strong candidate to bag the LFE gong following his stunning strike against Hull City last month at Middlewood Road.
During the Owls’ recent six-game winning streak, Hunt – who has been a part of the Owls academy from the age of seven – smashed home an eye-catching strike against the Tigers from range.
