The Owls Under-23s were back to winning ways on Monday evening against Steel City rivals Sheffield United, with Neil Thompson’s men running out 2-0 winners.
Wednesday took an early lead in the game as Jack Stobbs fired a low strike beyond Blades goalkeeper Hugo Warhurst on 15 minutes.
Stobbs turned provider in the second half with his cross picking out Preslav Borukov on 66 minutes, who buried the header past Warhurst.
