The Owls Under-23s are back in action on Friday facing Yorkshire rivals Leeds United.
Kick-off at Thorp Arch is at 1.00pm.
Striker George Hirst is set to feature in the PDL2 fixture, meanwhile Tom Lees is unlikely to be involved, having played the previous two Under-23 fixtures.
Jos Luhukay said: “George has been training this week with us, he plays tomorrow with our Under-23s.
“This is a positive situation in this moment because he is training with us.
“He has not played in seven or eight months any game, when you train it is a training situation but you must have match games to come to your best level.
“I know he is a talented player like all the other Under-23s, every day, every week I keep an eye on the young players.
“As I have said before, maybe in the weeks and months ahead, we will see more players from Under-23s in the first 11 and when we have injuries, it presents a chance for our young players.”
