With every passing game, Owls manager Jos Luhukay says confidence is rising in the squad.
Wednesday turned in a comprehensive display in the FA Cup on Friday to defeat Reading 3-1 and advance to round five.
Next up this evening is a trip to Middlesbrough in the Championship, where Luhukay wants to see the good work continue.
He said: "Every game that you win gives you a little more confidence and trust.
“We had last Friday a very highly effective performance with our chances to score the goals.
“But at Middlesbrough it is a different situation and we need a new performance, the players must give everything to try to win the game.
“We had a very positive game in the cup but you cannot rest at what you have seen. That is the past now and the Middlesbrough game is the future.
“It is our next game. We start again new, we will try to make a good game and we will be doing our best to win.”
