Question: “What kind of football will you play? Will it be conservative football or attacking football?”
Answer: “Successful football.”
Jos Luhukay’s response to the above at his formal unveiling at Hillsborough on Monday was telling.
With journalists and fans having done their diligence on the new Wednesday manager’s style of play, Luhukay was quizzed in his maiden press conference.
He explained: “I want and we want to be successful so that is what I intend our kind of football to be.
“There is no set formula to play football, there are different ways and different factors.
“Some games will be different to others. The derby on Friday will be different to the next game, certainly.
“So my kind of football is the kind of football that will help Wednesday win matches and take the club forward.”
