A Sheffield derby, under the lights at Bramall Lane and live in front of the nation on Sky Sports, David Jones says the players know exactly what it means to the fans.
Jos Luhukay’s first week on the training ground has been geared towards the big S2 clash on Friday evening.
A huge game for the city and fans, the ex-Burnley man said of the derby:
“We’ve got a lot of quality and I think we all need to look at ourselves, individually and collectively and come together.
“It’s a big game, we know it’s a big game.
“We know what it means to the fans, we are definitely aware of that and we must give everything.
“That means how we train, live our lives and prepare in order to put what has gone wrong on the pitch right.
“We need to give everything and we are fully aware of what it means.
“It’s a game to look forward to, a huge game for the city.”
