The Owls’ schedule for the 2018/19 season has been revealed!
Jos Luhukay and the boys will head to newly-promoted Wigan on the opening day of the campaign.
The Latics were crowned as League 1 champions in 2017/18, pipping Blackburn to the title to secure an immediate return to the second tier.
The Owls’ maiden home game of the new term takes place the following week on Saturday 11 August against Hull City.
The Carabao Cup first round fixtures then take place week commencing 13 August, when the Owls head to League 1 side Sunderland.
A trip to Brentford, followed by back to back home games with Millwall and Ipswich conclude the opening month.
Boxing Day will see the Owls travel to Middlesbrough, while the first fixture of 2019 is at home to Birmingham on Tuesday 1 January.
Our final game of the season is against Queens Park Rangers at Hillsborough.
Meanwhile, the first Steel City clash with Sheffield United will take place at Bramall Lane on Saturday 10 November, with the return date at Hillsborough set for Saturday 2 March.
