Apprenticeships at Wednesday

6 March 2018

The Sheffield Wednesday Education Centre, run by the club’s ever-expanding Community Programme, has seen huge success with their Btec and Higher Education Degree courses, seeing a number of Btec Students receive International Scholarships.

Now, Wednesday are proud to be on the Register of high quality Training Providers.

Indeed, the Owls are the first professional football club delivering apprenticeship opportunities for levy paying organisations looking to invest in developing their existing workforce, grow talent or recruit and train new employees.

Apprenticeships are genuine jobs where employees receive on the job training, meaning you can earn while you learn and gain the necessary skills and professional competencies in your chosen career.

Apprenticeships benefit employers and individuals, and by boosting the skills of the workforce help to improve economic productivity.

Sheffield Wednesday are now delivering high quality apprenticeships in Activity Leadership Level 2 and Customer Practitioner Level 2.

Course entry requirements and levy information are available by visiting the Sheffield Wednesday

Community Programme official website or by emailing apprenticeship@swfc.co.uk
