After a season of setbacks and injury frustrations, the past few weeks have seen a reversal in fortunes for Wednesday.
With Tom Lees back in the fold, Sam Hutchinson and Barry Bannan returning against Leeds and Fernando Forestieri appearing for the Under-23s, it has been a positive period in the season.
With tails up in the camp and an Easter double-header on the horizon, Hutchinson is keen to get back out on the pitch.
With mixed feelings about the recent break, he told swfc.co.uk:
“The break came but for me, I just wanted to get straight back out there.
“After Leeds, I wished there was a game the next Tuesday so I could get straight back out and get 90 minutes under my belt.
“But, I feel you can almost come back on a level playing field because I will work hard all throughout the break.
“When you come back everyone is there or thereabouts.”
Wednesday face Preston on Good Friday at Hillsborough before travelling to Sunderland on Easter Monday and Hutchinson added:
“We’ve got the players to do so much better and we all just want to get back out there and show that.”
