The nationwide initiative run by the NHS represents today’s matchday charity partner.
Recent inclement weather has contributed to low blood stocks around the country, and the organisation are urgently seeking donors to boost vital stock.
The NHS aim to retain six days worth of stock at any time in order to meet the requirements of patients but they are currently below this level, with a particular shortage of O- and B-.
