31 March 2018

The Owls are gearing up for our special Easter half term family fun day – WAWAW #SWFC150 - with a host of exciting activities planned for Wednesday 11 April.

Through an action-packed event, we will host mini games on the pitch for young Owls, during which our eagle-eyed coaches will be seeking those stars of tomorrow!

Along with Zorb Football and Wednesday Cricket Club games to Treasure Hunts and live roaming cameras, we guarantee something for every member of the blue and white family.

At this stage ahead of WAWAW #SWFC150, we are requesting that fans register their attendance in advance.

Fans who register online will receive a further email with full details over the coming week. Supporters should check their online preferences to ensure they are ticked to receive emails from Sheffield Wednesday. If uncertain, please check the preferences page on the ‘my account’ page.

CLICK HERE to register each member of your party attending using the ‘friends and family’ facility on the ticket page.

We have much more on this special day, which concludes with the big match as the SWFC Fans v Staff clash unfolds, refereed by former Premier League official Uriah Rennie.

So….do you want to play on the hallowed Hillsborough pitch?

As you can see in the video below, the staff are stepping up their intense preparations for the main event at 3.00pm….with assistance from a certain influential striker! But who will make up the opposition?

Well, that is up to you! To be in with a chance of lacing your boots at Hillsborough, simply upload a short video of your skills to our official Facebook page.

Goalkeeper, defender, playmaker or striker – we want to see exactly why you should be in the frame!

Then, best of all, fans will select the team by ‘liking’ their favourite videos. The winning entries will be determined by the most likes, as voted for by Wednesdayites!

Please note, everyone entering this Fans v Staff competition must be aged 18 years or over.

Good luck….and we hope to see you at Hillsborough, on and off the pitch!
