Jos Luhukay was left frustrated at Ashton Gate as his side were well beaten in Bristol on Saturday.
But the Wednesday manager says the only way forward is to put all energies and focus on the coming back to back games at Hillsborough.
Luhukay wants to see a much-improved all-round performance back on home soil in midweek against Ipswich Town.
Wednesday face the Tractor Boys on Tuesday and then host Bolton on Saturday.
“It is not happy when you lose a game like this and we must handle the situation,” he said.
“We have only two days before we play next and we have two home games.
“We have to make sure that the things we did not so good on Saturday, we must do much better on Tuesday.
“We know that and can do that. We have two days to put ourselves in a better position to win on Tuesday.”
