Sheffield Wednesday can announce details of a pre-season friendly against Lincoln City this summer.
The fixture at Sincil Bank will form part of the Owls’ preparations ahead of the 2018/19 campaign and will take place on Friday 13 July.
Kick-off will be at 7.30pm.
The Imps have made major strides during the past two seasons, gaining promotion back to the EFL in 2016/17, finishing as champions of the National League.
During their maiden campaign back in League Two, Lincoln lifted the EFL Trophy in April at Wembley after defeating Shrewsbury 1-0 in the final.
Danny Cowley’s side went on to secure a League Two play-off spot, though were defeated at the semi final stage by Exeter.
The Owls’ last meeting with Lincoln was way back in November 1979 in an FA Cup first round clash at Hillsborough.
Wednesday prevailed 3-0 with goals from Mark Smith, Jeff King and Andy McCulloch.
