Jos Luhukay is looking for a reversal of fortunes as Wednesday meet in-form Norwich on Saturday at Hillsborough.
Hoping to right the wrongs from a forgettable week in the Championship, the Owls boss underlined the confidence he has in his side ahead of the clash with the Canaries.
Norwich travel to S6 with bags of confidence following their Championship ascent, consisting of seven wins from nine games.
But at Hillsborough, the Owls have the perfect platform to show their mentality and character that has been so often hailed by the manager.
“We play at our home and we are strong enough and have the quality on Saturday to play a good game,” he said.
“Of course we know we can come to a good result this weekend.
“The fans are with the heart and emotions and completely with the team and the club.
“They want the best results and the best success that you can, we know that.
“I always look to the reality and we must work ever harder to get back to where we were.
“Two weeks ago when we were in the top six positions, we knew the reality was it would be even harder to stay there.
“But things can change fast in the Championship and the reality now is that we must work hard to get back to those levels and it can be done.”
He added: “I believe we have the same quality, we stay eight points behind them but in the Championship you know winning one or two games can make things very different.”
