Desire to put things right

27 October 2018

Owls skipper Tom Lees has reflected on what he has tagged as a ‘mad week in the Championship’ following Saturday’s defeat at Birmingham.

The Owls went down 3-1 at St Andrew’s to clock their third successive defeat and Lees has challenged the team to bounce back in time for Saturday’s home clash with Norwich.

He said: “I can’t believe the way this week has gone, it’s mad in the Championship.

“Only last week we were in the top six.

“We just have to come back. It’s difficult to find the words with it being so raw, we just have to sort it out.

“The only way to put this right is hard work and desire. We stick together and try to do the right things.”
