Sam Winnall will feature today for the Owls Under-23s in their PDL2 clash with Crewe at Hillsborough.
The game is set for a 1.00pm kick-off.
The striker has been on the sidelines since sustaining knee ligament damage while on loan at Derby last February.
Sam Hutchinson also makes his return to action and has been named in Neil Thompson’s starting XI.
The midfielder had suffered a groin injury and not featured since late August in the Owls’ Carabao Cup defeat to Wolves.
Meanwhile, Joe Wildsmith and Morgan Fox also feature.
