Young Owls goalkeeper Dan Wallis has joined Frickley Athletic on a month’s loan.
The Under-23s custodian was part of the young Wednesday side that won the Professional Development League Two North and National title in 2016/17.
Wallis also helped Neil Thompson’s side to a third-placed finish last time out as the Under-23s narrowly missed out on back to back titles.
In May, Wallis, who joined the Owls as a scholar in 2015, signed a contract extension with Wednesday until the summer of 2019.
He now joins Frickley who currently lie in fourth place in the Evo-Stick East Division.
